8 tools. 8 nights. All free.

Tools that took one night to build

We challenged ourselves: build one useful tool every night for 8 nights straight. No frameworks, no backends, no auth walls. Just single HTML files that solve real problems.

The backstory

Most "overnight builds" are marketing stunts. Ours aren't. Each tool was genuinely built in a single evening session — start to finish, idea to deployed.

The constraint: one self-contained HTML file. No React. No npm install. No build step. No backend. No database. Just HTML + CSS + JavaScript that runs anywhere, works offline, and keeps your data in localStorage.

Why? Because the best tool is the one you can actually use. No signup friction. No "starts free, pay later." No "we need your email first." Open the link. Use the tool. That's it.

Each tool solves a problem we personally had. If it's useful to us, maybe it's useful to you.

How each tool gets built

1

Spot a real problem

Every tool starts with a personal frustration. "I wish this existed" is the trigger. No market research, no competitor analysis. Just a real itch.

2

Scope to one evening

The constraint is brutal: everything must fit in a single HTML file and be useful by midnight. This forces ruthless prioritization — what's the ONE thing this tool must do?

3

Build with AI as co-pilot

We use AI (Claude, specifically) as a coding partner. Describe what we want, iterate on the output, add our design polish. The AI handles boilerplate, we handle taste.

4

Ship by midnight

No "almost done." No "needs polish." If it works and solves the core problem, it ships. Perfect is the enemy of shipped. We can always improve tomorrow.

5

Free forever, no strings

Every tool uses localStorage — your data never leaves your browser. No accounts, no tracking, no "upgrade to pro." If we ever build a paid product from one of these, the free version stays free.

We build MVPs for founders who need to ship fast. If we can build these tools in one night, imagine what we can do in a week.
